Join one of the biggest cruise festivals in the country!

From family vacations to wedding anniversary trips – cruising has something for every occasion

Cruise Festa 2016, one of the biggest cruise festivals in the country, will take place at Harumi Passenger Ship Terminal (Chuo Ward), from May 21 (Sat) to May 22 (Sun). The festival will feature a range of attractions to bring to life the world of cruising. There will be something for all, young and old, seasoned cruise travelers, and those who have never been on a cruise before. Please come along with your family or friends.

Free shuttle bus from JR Tokyo Station (bus leaves from Kajibashi Parking Area at the Yaesu Exit)

Opening Ceremony

Get into the cruise spirit with this dazzling opening ceremony and a welcome from the Miss Japan International 2016 winner and contestants.

Fashion and talk show, ‘Cruise Style’, hosted by Girolamo Panzetta

Tips on overcoming any worries about cruising dress code, and suggestions for what to wear in a range of situations. The following fashion brands will be featured: BEAMS, Helly Hansen, HIGH BRIDGE INTERNATIONAL, MAUBOUSSIN, PELLE MORBIDA, STELLA.K, TADASHI.

Talk by Bansei Fujita, former Chief Purser of the first generation passenger cruise ship ‘Asuka’

There is something in this talk for both first-timers and experienced cruise travelers, from the basics of cruising and tips on selecting a cruise to advice on how to enjoy your cruise to the fullest, along with Fujita’s own anecdotes from his time aboard.

SPECIAL PROGRAM May 22 (Sun)

Live Radio Show: ‘SEIKO ASTRON presents World Cruise’

One of the highlights of Cruise Festa 2016, this live broadcast of the Tokyo FM show will welcome actor Eisaku Yoshida to talk about the true joys of cruising and share various experiences.

Talk by Owner-Chef Tsutomu Ochiai of LA BETTOLA da Ochiai

The owner-chef of one of Japan’s most sought-after restaurants will talk on the theme of food and cruising. Chef Ochiai has experience as a guest chef on Japan’s leading ‘Asuka II’ cruise ship. He will talk about cuisine as a vital ingredient of travel, and how best to enjoy food while cruising.
