IOC Evaluation Commission Visits Tokyo Big Sight
平成25（2013）年3月6日（水曜）、IOC評価委員会による東京ビッグサイトの視察が行われ、猪瀬知事は、各オリンピック競技のユニフォームを着た子供達とともに、委員を歓迎しました。
知事は、現地視察終了後、記者団の質問に対し、「アスリート第一の会場と、我々の運営能力をご理解いただけた」「日本人が、一体となってオリンピックを迎えたいと思っている気持ちを、表現できたのでなはいか」と話しました。
On Wednesday, March 6, the members of the IOC Evaluation Commission visited Tokyo Big Sight and were given a warm welcome by Governor Inose and local elementary school children wearing various Olympic sport uniforms.
Following the inspection, the governor, in response to questions from the press, said, “We were able to have the Commission members understand that the athletes are at the heart of our venue plans and that we have the ability necessary to manage the Games,” and “I believe we successfully portrayed the enthusiasm of the Japanese, united in our hopes to welcome the 2020 Olympics to Tokyo.”
