Governor Inose visits exhibition booths
平成25（2013）年5月29日（水曜）夕刻、猪瀬知事はスポーツアコード会議が開催されているサンクトペテルブルク市のレンエキスポ展示会場を訪れました。
知事は、イスタンブール市、マドリード市、国際パラリンピック委員会の各ブースを訪問した後、東京ブースに向かいました。
東京ブースでは、東京の競技施設、東京の魅力を世界に向けて発信しています。
会場を離れる際、記者団に対し知事は、「競合する都市のブースに行って、お互いライバルではあるけれど、より良いオリンピックをつくろうという気持ちを共有しあったと思っています。明日の公式プレゼンテーションでは、東京にずっと暮らしていると当たり前に思ってしまうような東京の魅力を特に言いたいと思っています。」と翌日のプレゼンテーションに向けて意気込みを語りました。
In the evening of Wednesday, May 29, Governor Inose visited the Lenexpo Exhibition Complex in St. Petersburg, Russia, where the SportAccord Convention is underway.
The Governor headed to the Tokyo booth after first visiting the booths of Istanbul, Madrid, and the International Paralympic Committee. The Tokyo booth is introducing Tokyo’s competition venues and other attractions of the city to the world.
Speaking to the press before leaving the convention site, the governor said, “I visited the booths of the other candidate cities and believe that we were able to share a sense of friendly rivalry in realizing an even better Olympic Games,” and expressed his determination to deliver a remarkable presentation the following day, saying, “I wish to especially focus on the attractions of Tokyo that tend to be taken for granted by long-time residents of the city.”
