Governor Returns from St. Petersburg
平成25（2013）年6月2日（日曜）早朝、猪瀬知事は、サンクトペテルブルク出張を終え、就航を再開したばかりのボーイング787定期便で、羽田空港に到着しました。
知事は、帰国後、記者団に対して「現地でのプレゼンテーションでは、東京は、ホスピタリティがあることや、オリンピックを確実に運営できることを情熱的に語り、強い印象を与えたと思います。今回の手ごたえは十分ですが、これからまだローザンヌやブエノスアイレスがあるので、安心することはできないと思っています。」と出張の成果を語るとともに、今後の招致活動へ決意を新たにしました。
On Sunday, June 2, Governor Inose arrived at Haneda International Airport on an early morning flight, returning from his official visit to St. Petersburg.
Upon his return, the governor spoke to the media about the achievements of this trip and his determination to conduct even stronger bid activities, saying, “I believe we were able to make a strong impact at the presentation by speaking passionately about Tokyo’s hospitality and capability to reliably operate the Games. Although we received a good response this time round, we can’t rest on our laurels yet, given that we still have presentations to deliver at Lausanne and Buenos Aires.”
