Governor Inose departs for the IOC technical briefing in Lausanne, Switzerland
平成25（2013）年7月1日（月曜）未明、猪瀬知事は、羽田空港からローザンヌ市（スイス連邦）に向けて出発しました。
知事は、ローザンヌ市でIOC主催のテクニカルブリーフィングに出席し、2020年オリンピック・パラリンピック競技大会の東京招致に向けて、IOC委員へ向けたプレゼンテーションと記者会見を行う予定です。
出発に先立ち、知事は記者団に対して「東京の安全性、輸送の確実性、強固な財政基盤、総じて大会実現の能力の高さをアピールしたい。今回は、IOC委員に対して直接アピールする極めて重要な場であり、オリンピック選手のような心境で頑張ろうと思っております。」と意気込みを話しました。
In the early hours of Monday, July 1, Governor Inose departed Tokyo’s Haneda International Airport for Lausanne, Switzerland.
In Lausanne, the governor will attend the International Olympic Committee’s technical briefing where he will give a formal presentation to IOC members and hold a press conference to promote Tokyo’s bid for the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
At Haneda Airport, Governor Inose commented, “I hope to promote Tokyo’s strong ability to deliver the Games, such as the city’s safety, sophisticated transportation systems, and solid financial foundation. This will be a very important occasion where we can directly convey our strengths to the IOC members. I will give it all I’ve got, just like an Olympian.”
