Governor takes part in press conference held by the Tokyo 2020 Bid Committee
現地時刻9月7日（土曜）夜、猪瀬知事は、TOKYO2020招致委員会主催の記者会見に出席しました。
会見冒頭、知事は「今日のプレゼンテーションでのチーム日本のバトンリレーは、大変よくできたと思います。プレゼンテーションの裏方でいろいろと支えてくれた人達も多くいます。その人達にも本当にお礼を言いたい。招致実現の喜びをできるだけ多くの都民、国民、スポーツを愛する人々と共有したいと思っております。そして被災地の力に少しでもなればと考えております。」と招致実現へ尽力された方々へ感謝の意を表しました。
On the evening of September 7 (Buenos Aires local time), Governor Inose attended a press conference held by the Tokyo 2020 Bid Committee.
At the opening of the press conference, the governor said, “At today’s presentation, I believe that the passing of the baton between members on ‘Team Japan’ was very well executed. There were also many people behind the scenes who supported us in preparing for this. I would really like to thank those people as well. I hope to share the joy of having won the bid to host the Games with as many residents of Tokyo and Japan and sports aficionados as possible. Furthermore, I hope that the Games will bring some form of encouragement to the areas affected by the 2011 earthquake and tsunami,” expressing his gratitude to the people who devoted their efforts to winning the honor of hosting the games.
