The 2020 Games Top Leaders Meeting

On Thursday, June 12, Governor Masuzoe attended the 2020 Games Top Leaders Meeting.

The review of the venue plans was discussed at the meeting. Following the meeting, Governor Masuzoe, who reported on the proceedings along with Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games President Yoshiro Mori, said, "Reviews are necessary to deliver an even better Olympic and Paralympic Games. As it was decided at today's meeting to start such reviews, I wish to immediately embark on work to restudy the existing plans from a broad and diverse perspective."
