The incoming French ambassador visits the government

On Thursday, October 9, H.E. Mr. Thierry Dana, the incoming Ambassador of France to Japan, paid a courtesy call on Governor Masuzoe.

At the meeting, the governor said, "Tokyo and Paris are friendship cities. I hope to continue to further advance the relationship between our two cities, and request the assistance of the ambassador with these efforts. Furthermore, with the Olympic and Parlaympic Games to be held in Tokyo in 2020, I hope that many people from France will come to Tokyo."
