Tokyo Strategic Council for the Realization of a Hydrogen Society

On Tuesday, November 18, the governor attended a meeting of the Tokyo Strategic Council for the Realization of a Hydrogen Society.

At the meeting, the governor said that he hoped to set up an environment that enables the use of hydrogen, with the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games as one of the targets for realizing this goal. He also said that as he wanted to compile strategic objectives as well as concrete measures aimed at realizing a hydrogen society, he hoped there would be earnest discussions at the meeting.

As an interim summary, the direction of strategic objectives and initiatives, such as the establishment of hydrogen fueling stations at 80 locations and having 100,000 fuel cell vehicles in use by 2025, and concrete measures and other initiatives were concluded at this meeting.
