On Wednesday, February 18, H. E. Mr. Sar Kheng, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Cambodia, paid a courtesy call on Governor Masuzoe.

Speaking at the meeting, the governor talked about his 1993 visit to Cambodia and said that he is glad to see the recent development of the country. Noting that this year presents a great opportunity for the two nations to further their friendly relationship as it marks the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Japan-Cambodia Treaty of Amity, Governor Masuzoe added that he hopes Tokyo will be able to extend technical support and expertise in various areas to facilitate the development of Cambodia’s cities.
