On Tuesday, August 25, H.E. Mr. Carlos Fernando Almada López, Ambassador of the United Mexican States to Japan, paid a courtesy call on Governor Masuzoe.

At the meeting, the governor said, “I am looking forward to welcoming many athletes and spectators from Mexico to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.” The governor also introduced the Tokyo Tech Book, a compilation of the various technologies and know-how of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, as well as TOKYO X brand pork, which was developed by the TMG. He then spoke about Taste of Tokyo, which the TMG will hold this autumn to showcase the wide range of food ingredients made in Tokyo, and invited the ambassador to the event.
