On Friday, September 25, the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, Erdene Bat-Uul, and the Ambassador of Mongolia to Japan, Sodovjamts Khurelbaatar, paid a courtesy call on Governor Masuzoe.

At the meeting, the governor said, “I believe that the relationship between Tokyo and Ulaanbaatar as partners in Asia is a very good one. We are now focusing all of our efforts on preparations for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games. And, through that process we are determined to take on issues faced by major cities. Tokyo Tech Book, which was recently published by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, contains a wealth of information on technologies we have to offer. Should Ulaanbaatar require assistance in any of these areas, I would like to extend our full support.”
