Former President of the Republic of Slovenia visits the Governor

On Wednesday, March 30, Danilo Türk, former president of the Republic of Slovenia met with the governor.

The governor mentioned the Sekai Tomodachi Global Friendship Project under which public school pupils in Tokyo will learn about the countries participating in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and requested assistance for schools learning about Slovenia. The governor also talked of the many initiatives being undertaken by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government with a view to Tokyo 2020 and beyond.
