Budapest 2024 chairman and his delegation visit the governor

On Thursday, May 19, Balázs Fürjes, Chairman of the Budapest 2024 Bid Committee, and his delegation met with Governor Masuzoe.

Budapest is bidding to host the 2024 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games.

During the meeting, Governor Masuzoe said, “We will not only make the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games successful but also create wonderful post-Games legacies,” and talked about Tokyo’s efforts to realize a hydrogen society and improve barrier-free access. He also told the delegation that he hopes Tokyo’s experience will be of help to Budapest.
