With the aim to draw more talent, information, and investment, and transform Tokyo into a city that is even more open to global business, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) is advancing efforts to attract foreign companies and develop a business-friendly environment.
Such efforts resulted in attracting 41 companies―31 companies conducting mainly involved in research and development and 10 companies conducting marketing operations and other business over the past two years.
A seminar introducing the many forms of support available will be held as follows for foreign-affiliated companies planning to expand to Tokyo’s special economic zones and foreign embassies and chambers of commerce in Japan, and other relevant organizations.
