Invest Tokyo Seminar 2015 in London

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) is advancing with its program to encourage foreign companies to expand into its special economic zone, with the aim of drawing more investment, talent, and firms from around the world and transforming Tokyo into a city that is even more open to global business.

The TMG is pleased to announce that it will hold a seminar in London to attract foreign companies to the Japanese capital.

To be held on July 14, 2015, at Ambassadors Bloomsbury Hotel, the “Invest Tokyo Seminar 2015 in London” will bring together businesspeople interested in seeking opportunities in Japan.

  • Opening remarks by the Governor of Tokyo (video message) and the representative from the Embassy of Japan in the United Kingdom
  • Special Lecture by Dr. Harald Conrad, Sasakawa Lecturer in Japan’s Economy and Management, University of Sheffield
  • Presentations on emerging business opportunities in Japan, the allure of Tokyo, and the TMG’s support services for foreign companies
  • Sub Sessions on FinTech and healthcare industries
