Launch of a Campaign to Promote the “Tokyo Brand” -Aiming to make Tokyo the world’s No. 1 tourist destination-

With an eye to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games and beyond, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) is implementing measures aimed at the establishment of a “Tokyo Brand” to strongly convey the attraction of Tokyo as a travel destination.
At this time, we are pleased to announce the launch of a new initiative to promote the Tokyo brand. The campaign will center on “& TOKYO,” a new logo and slogan based on the brand concept. Through use of the logo and slogan within Japan and abroad, the TMG aims to familiarize the world with the Tokyo brand.

A project based on the long-term vision for Tokyo

This project is associated with the following urban strategy and policy approach outlined in Creating the Future The Long Term Vision for Tokyo.
