The IOC Executive Board expressed its full commitment to the success of the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. The IOC also highly appreciated and supported the measures we are taking to host a safe and secure Games. It was also stated that the IOC and all stakeholders will continue to work closely together to address the challenges of the coronavirus.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has already set up the Tokyo Novel Coronavirus Response Headquarters.
