Tokyo Metropolitan Government Introduces Official Portal Site for Tokyo 2020 Games!

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) introduces the official portal site for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 (TMG Portal Site) to provide integrated information on the Tokyo 2020 Games and easy access to related websites including the Tokyo 2020 Torch Relay, traffic measures during the Games, COVID-19 countermeasures, and more. This portal site will be available in Japanese and English, and is designed to be simple and easy to read for use with smartphones.

1. Features

Information classified into four categories:

• Games Information: Information on sports and venues, competition schedule, Tokyo 2020 test events and precautions for visitors, etc.
• Games Related Information: Information on Tokyo 2020 torch relay, live sites, and recovery and reconstruction Games, etc.
• Traffic: Requests for cooperation in traffic measures including traffic congestions reduction and traffic restrictions around the venues.
• COVID-19 Countermeasures: Countermeasures to ensure the delivery of a safe and secure Games.
