Photo Contest to Express the Allure of 9 Major Cities in Asia!

The Council for Promotion of Tourism in Asia is holding a “Welcome to Asia Campaign” to attract tourists from around the world after the COVID-19 pandemic subsides.
The 5th Photo Contest will be held as part of this campaign.

1. Theme

Unforgettable memories from one of 9 cities in Asia
*We are looking for travel and other photos from all over the world that were taken in these 9 cities in Asia.
*The 9 cities are Bangkok, Delhi, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Metro Manila. Seoul, Taipei, Tomsk and Tokyo, which are all member cities of the Council for Promotion of Tourism in Asia.
*Submitted photos taken in other cities will be invalid.

2. Application Period

From Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 14:00 to Thursday, September 30, 2021 (Japan Standard Time)

3. Eligible Applicants

Both professionals and amateurs are welcome to apply.

6. Awards

  1. Best Photo Award
    1 winner per city (9 winners in total)
  2. Excellence Award
    4 winners per city (36 winners in total)

7. Prizes

The Best Photo Award will be presented with a prize selected by each city. The Excellence Award will be presented with a prize selected by the council secretariat.

The Council for Promotion of Tourism in Asia

The Council for Promotion of Tourism in Asia is the entity that promotes the “Welcome to Asia Campaign”.
The council is building a tourism network by mutually exchanging information, and each city is working together to attract tourists from North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania, and other regions.
