Tokyo Metropolitan University, as part of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s “Future Tokyo” strategy formulated in March 2021, offers online courses for its students by leading international experts in the fields of politics, economics, the environment, and more.
This time, we invited Professor Yuval Noah Harari, author of “Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind”, which has sold more than 21 million copies worldwide, and held an online talk session with Governor of Tokyo, Yuriko Koike, and faculty members and students of Tokyo Metropolitan University.
This will be open to the public, so please watch it.
Post-COVID-19 Future Projections
With themes such as “the future brought about by technology”, “responding to climate change” and “global cooperation”, young people learned how they should act and make decisions based on the lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic that is a worldwide challenge, as well as receive encouragement as those who will lead the future.
