Tokyo 2020 Games One Year Anniversary
"Let's enjoy sports and recreation!" event to be held!
-Oi Central Seaside Park Hockey Stadium Reopening Event-

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) is pleased to announce that the reopening event of the Oi Central Seaside Park Hockey Stadium will be held on Saturday June 18 2022 as part of the Tokyo 2020 Games One Year Anniversary Project.
The event will include demonstration matches by top Japanese athletes in field hockey, lacrosse, touch rugby, and flying disc, in addition to a variety of other sports and recreational activities. We hope to see many of you there.

1. Date/Time:

Saturday June 18 2022, 10:00 to 17:30 (planned)

2. Location:

Oi Central Seaside Park Hockey Stadium 
(4-1-19, Yashio, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo/ 1-2-1, Tokai, Ota-ku, Tokyo)

Approx. 8-minute walk from Oi Keibajo-mae Station on the Tokyo Monorail
Approx. 20-minute walk from Tachiaigawa Station on the Keikyu Line

3. Content (planned):

1) Demonstration matches by Japanese national team members and other top athletes, etc.

  • Japan's national men's hockey team (Samurai Japan)
  • Japan's national women's and men's 6-player lacrosse teams
  • Japan national women's touch rugby team
  • Top flying disc athletes

2) Sports Experience * Advance registration required

  • Field hockey workshop by members of Japan's national hockey team
  • Lacrosse, touch rugby, and flying disc experiences

Detailed schedules of sports experience and workshops, etc. will be published on the websites of the following facilities.
Applications to participate will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis from 13:00 on Wednesday June 1.
If there are spaces available for the experiences, same-day participation is also possible.
