都市広報における海外招聘記者との懇談
Governor attends round table discussion on public relations with journalists invited from abroad
平成26（2014）年10月21日（火）、アメリカ、シンガポール、カナダ、香港、インドから招聘した6名の記者と懇談を行いました。
東京都では、海外に向けた都市広報の取組の一環として、公益社団法人日本外国特派員協会と連携し、海外から記者を招聘する事業を実施しています。
知事は、「東京を世界で1位の都市にしたいという目標を持っているので、記者の皆さんが、東京で見たものを海外で発信する事は非常に有意義なこと」と挨拶した後、各記者からの質問に応じました。
On Tuesday, October 21, the governor took part in a discussion with six journalists invited to Tokyo from Canada, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, and the United States.
As a part of public relations efforts aimed at promoting Tokyo abroad, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, in collaboration with the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Japan, is implementing a program to invite overseas journalists to Tokyo.
Greeting the group, the governor said that it was very meaningful for the journalists to convey what they saw in Tokyo abroad, and then responded to questions from the reporters.
