Reopening of Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building South Observation Deck and Tocho Omoide Piano

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building South Observation Deck and Tocho Omoide Piano, which were closed to prevent the spread of COVID-19, were reopened on November 8.

South Observation Deck Opening Hours

10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (last entry at 5:00 p.m.)

Tocho Omoide Piano (TMG Piano of Memories) Performance Hours

On days when the South Observation Deck is open (except New Year's Day)
11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

About Opening of Deck on New Year's Day, January 1, 2022

The deck will not be open in the early morning for the first sunrise, but only for free entry from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (last entry at 6:00 p.m.).
Instead of opening the observation deck in the early morning for the first sunrise, it will be broadcast live on the internet.
