Start of test kit distribution at Haneda and Narita airports for people self-quarantining

On December 28 and 31 last year, PCR test kits started being distributed at Haneda and Narita airports, respectively, to Tokyo residents not required to stay in quarantine facilities after entering Japan, but instead to self-quarantine directly from the airport. This will lead to the early detection of infections and alleviation of anxiety during the 14-day quarantine period. They will be distributed at both airports until January 31.

The kits are distributed free of charge. To prevent infection, passengers themselves are asked to take the paper bag with the kit.
