Adolescence is a time when students in junior high and high school and others are more likely to have worries and anxiety about their body and sex. On November 30, the first in-person consultation session for “Tokyo Youth Health Support (Wakasapo)” was held on the 5th floor of “LUMINE 0 NEWoMan Shinjuku” in Shinjuku, where adolescents can consult nurses and other professionals about such problems.
It is intended for those who are junior high school students or older and live, study, or work in Tokyo, and is scheduled to be held a total of 10 times until the end of March 2023.
Examples of consultations include acne, body shape, diet, irregular menstruation, menstrual pain, sexually transmitted diseases, pregnancy, genitalia, etc.
Telephone consultations were also started from October 26.
